BLAKEY, Phyllis Elizabeth\ \ Of Mt. Morris, age 78, died peacefully Friday, October 19, 2007 at the home of her daughter. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, on Monday 11:00am to 2:00pm and 4:00pm to 8:00pm, and on Tuesday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be considered to the McLaren Women's Auxillary. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.\ \ Phyllis was born April 12, 1929 in Flint, MI the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Martha (Elbing) Eaton. She graduated from Flint Northern, Class of 1947. She and Donald Blakey were united in marriage in 1949. She was employed by AC Spark Plug for 38 years. Phyllis was an active, passionate member of McLaren Women's Auxillary for many years. She served in many capacities, most recently, as president.\ \ Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory 4 children: Jonathan Blakey and partner Nanci Cartwright,of Ypsilanti, Daniel and wife Donna Blakey,of East Lansing, Larry Blakey,of Mt. Morris, and Lucy and husband Jack Regis, of Clio, 7 grandchildren: Donald Blakey, Jason Blakey, Elizabeth and husband Tim Sieczka Erin and husband Daniel Brown, Trevor Blakey, Amanda and Noah Strickler, 3 nieces Juanita Olmstead, Patricia Moody, and Linda Vuillemot, and 1 nephew Peter Kekel. \ \ Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters Florence Bohl, and Eleanor Kekel.\
