Phillip William Little

January 30, 1944 — September 20, 2022

Age 78, of Mt. Morris, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at home with his wife by his side. In accordance with Phillip’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Phillip’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com.

Phillip was born in Champaign, Illinois on January 30, 1944, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar and Annie (Smith) Little. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from November 8, 1963, until his honorable discharge on May 16, 1967. Phillip was very proud of the time he served this great country in the military and considered it the highest honor. Upon his return to the states, Phillip would meet and marry the love of his life, Rosemary Smith. Phillip worked as an office administrator for the Genesee County Road Commission for his entire career until his retirement. Phillip was known for his love of model trains, and he was a master builder. He created a train display that consisted of an entire room in his home that was filled with intricate details of the mountains and towns that the trains could run through. He also enjoyed putting together model planes and cars that had intricate details. Riders Hobby Shop would display his work as it was fantastic. Phillip also enjoyed touring with his beloved wife on his Honda Goldwing as part of the motorcycle club.

Left to cherish Phillip's memory is his loving wife of over 50 years, Rosemary Little.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
