Penny Saintjohn (Langworthy)

Age 62 of Skidway Lake, Michigan, formerly of Clio, died Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Wythe Community Hospital in Virginia. A memorial service will take place 2:00 pm, Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Clio Masonic Temple located at 714 N Mill St, Clio, MI. Memorial donations may be directed to family fund. Penny was born in Flint, Michigan, on August 2, 1953; the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle and Donna (Duncan) Langworthy. Growing up she was educated locally and would go on to earn her medical assistant certificate, from Baker College. Penny worked for Hurley Medical Center as a pathology secretary for over 20 years, before retiring, and moving to Skidway Lake, Michigan. In her free time, she enjoyed researching Genealogy for her family and for others. She looked forward to planning the annual family reunion every year. She spent most of her free time cooking, canning and looking for new recipes to make. When not busy at home Penny enjoyed going to Lost Lake and visiting her friends in Canada. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Lyle and Donna Langworthy; son, Jason Saintjohn; sister, Wendy Langworthy; brother, Denny Langworthy; niece, Jennifer Hahn and daughter, Kolie; nephew, Denny Langworthy; special friend, John and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and brother, Kelly Langworthy.
