Age 83, of Mt. Morris, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, surrounded by his family. A funeral service is to take place at 12:00pm noon, Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Darrel Manning to officiate, with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. On Tuesday, November 5. 2024; Paul's family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm. Paul was born on August 24, 1941, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Mr. Joseph Brown and Mrs. Mary (Hamill) Fent. Educated locally, Paul graduated from Mt. Morris High School as part of the graduating class of 1961. While in high school, he maintained a very active lifestyle by participating in band, basketball, and baseball. Shortly after graduating, he began working for General Motors, and was employed for 30 years before retiring. He was blessed with three beautiful daughters that he would grow to love and cherish. Paul would unite in marriage on September 27, 1986 to his beloved wife, Dian. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio, and would often attend with his wife, Dian. Paul had a beautiful voice and was a member of the Norton Male Chorus. His favorite activity was going caroling and singing Christmas songs at the local senior centers and nursing homes. In his free time, Paul enjoyed bingo, playing card games, and bowling, and would often be found at the Richfield Bowling Alley. He also enjoyed camping, and was a longtime camper at Genesee Otter Lake Campground. While camping, he enjoyed riding around on his golf cart and playing darts in the game room.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife: Dian Brown; his three daughters: Elaine and husband, Fred Rosecrants, Lana and husband, Brian Wright, Debbie and husband, Kevin Brancheau; his sister: Betty Ostrander; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter: Leah Brown; his two brothers: Robert and Donald Brown; and his sister: Iva Cummings.
