Patti was born in Flint, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John and Barbara (Johnson) Toth. Educated locally, Patti graduated from EAJ High School in Mt. Morris, with the class of 1974. Her love for Mt. Morris and the school continued into a 10-year career with the Mt. Morris Consolidated School District. While working, Patti earned an associate’s degree in nursing from Mott Community College, graduating with the class of 2006. Her nursing career began at Hurley Medical in the Pediatric ICU before moving on to McLaren-Flint, retiring in 2017. She was a long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris prior to marrying the love of her life, William “Bill” Parrish. The joys of her life were her family and friends; she enjoyed supporting her grandchildren with their athletics and events. She was a phenomenal cook and loved preparing meals for her family. Patti was a dependable friend and when the chips were down you could count on her the most. She also enjoyed riding their motorcycle with her husband and friends; glamping in her travel trailer. She was a lifelong crafter sewing, quilting, crochet and creating one-of-a-kind items with her Cricut.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Bill Parrish; two daughters: Rochelle and husband, Duane Schmitter, Amanda and husband, Tom McIntosh; four grandchildren: Miya Lynn Schmitter, William Parrish, Gracelynn McIntosh, and Thomas McIntosh, Jr.; siblings: Lucinda Toth, Michael and wife, Darlene Toth; and many other family members and friends.
Patti was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and her best friend, Denise Duquette-Rostar.
