Patrick Best

Patrick “Pat” Best, age 61 of Clio, died on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at the University of Michigan Hospital. Pat’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mount Morris. Pat’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon, until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Pat was born on November 15, 1956, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Catherine (Tripodi) Best in Toledo, Ohio. On April 18, 1990, Pat married Carla Goins in Flint. Pat worked as a manager for Burlington Coat Factory, for ten years until his retirement. Pat is survived by his wife, Carla; children: Angela and husband, Kristopher Myers, Patrick and girlfriend, Tiffany Best, and Andrea and husband, Nick Benett; grandchildren: Samantha Myers, and Emmett Benett; siblings: Steve and wife, Eileen Best, Gina and husband, Tom Tillander, and John and wife, Charlotte Best; nieces and nephews: Kristen and husband, Ernie Anderson, Claire and husband, Lavelle Edmondson, Ellen and husband, Matt Mackowiak, Cameron Best, Ashleigh Best, Lauren Best, Michelle and husband, Brad McGeathy, and Mike Green. Pat was preceded in death by his parents and sister Julianna Rodkey.
