Patricia Peterman

Age 84, of Goodrich, passed away, Friday, August 4, 2017, at her home. A funeral celebrating Patricia’s life will take place 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services – Grand Blanc. Burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the VFW National Home for Children. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Patricia was born October 2, 1932, in Brookeville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cash and Dolly (Hinderlighter) Witherow. She graduated from Eaton Rapids, Michigan. Patricia and Don Peterman were united in marriage on July 5, 1953. She grew up in the VFW National Home for Children. Patricia was a part of the Ambassadors Exchange Program with the VFW National Home for Children where she studied abroad in Grease, Turkey, and Germany. She became a Brownie Leader and Cub Scout Leader. Patricia enjoyed in her free time, cooking, baking, and being involved with her community in Goodrich. Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Don R. Peterman Sr.; three children: Don (Cindy) Peterman Jr., Sally Peterman-Sophia and Joe (Holly Lambert) Peterman; 10 grandchildren: Jamie, Jason, Jaydee, Ashlee, Ethan, Britnee, Jennifer Lynn, Nicole, Danielle, Amanda; many great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Joe Witherow and Rosalie Witherow; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Susan “Peterman” Beecher, Brother Neal Witherow, and sister Pearl Decker.
