Age 75, of Mt. Morris, died Saturday, September 26, 2020, at her home with her family by her side. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 1, 2020, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Roy Horning to officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Patricia’s family will be present to receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Patricia’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com. Patricia was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on March 19, 1945, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis G. and Margaret (Sorgen) Callahan. Patricia met and married the love of her life Joseph Del Core on December 23, 1961, in Belleville, New Jersey. Sadly, he preceded her in death on August 24, 2013. Patricia would go on to further her education by obtaining her Nursing Degree. She was a member of the American Legion Post #168. In her free time, she enjoyed deer hunting, painting, and making jewelry. Left to cherish Patricia’s memory; four children: Jill (Dale) Keenan, Dawn Beckner, Joe Del Core, Melissa Wager; grandchildren: Angel (Totter), Meggan (Jimmy), Stephanie (Anthony), Kristen (Corrie), Shawn (Katie), Jamie (Colt), Zachary (Arika), Desmond (Angel), Joey (Nora), Corey (Bobby), Taylor (Dustin), Lyndsey (Logan); great-grandchildren: Anthony, Hannah, Gabrielle, Alexis, Cody, Yazmin, Richard, Callie, Landen, Audrina, Liliana, Ethan and Ellie, Ana, Amelia, Lucia, Greyson, Tobias, Peyton, Weston, Axel, Taitem, Sam; great-great-grandson: Liam. Patricia was preceded in death by husband: Joseph Del Core; daughter: Meggan Anne Del Core; and grandson: Anthony.
