Pamela Reffert

Age 72, of Clio, died February 14, 2020, at Hurley Medical Center. In accordance with Pamela’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 21, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pamela's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Friday, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm. Those desiring may direct memorial donations to Hurley Children's Miracle Network in Pamela's name. Pamela was born in Lockport, New York, on May 12, 1947, to Mr. and Mrs. Stanley and Mary (Day) Walker. At the age of 12, Pamela and her family moved to Rittman, Ohio. Shortly after moving, Pamela met Robert Reffert, and they began dating at the age of 14. On April 27, 1968, Pamela and Robert were united in marriage in Rittman. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage. Traveling to the Soo to enjoy the boats and lighthouses, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, are just a few of Pamela's hobbies. Pamela could always be found with a book in her hand. Pamela is survived by her loving husband: Robert; children: Patrick Reffert, and Valerie and husband, Jeff Rising; grandchildren: Dylan Reffert, Colin Reffert, Tony, and wife, Alicia Reffert, Jeff Rising Jr., Tony Rising, and Samantha Rising; great-grandchild: Anna Reffert; two siblings: Peggy, and husband, John Simonton and John, and wife, Tyann Walker. She is preceded in death by her parents.
