Of Mt. Morris, age 86, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place; 11:0am, Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. OliveAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 11:00 to 8:00pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Olive was born July 7, 1924 in Mt. Morris, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Melvina (Gilliland) Decker. She and James Lancey, Jr. were united in marriage June 2, 1970 in Flint. He preceded her in death. Olive was the proud owner of the Lunch Box Restaurant in Flint until 1970 and the owner of JamolAaas Kennel. She bred Pomeranian's for pets and show and was the breeder of American and Canadian Champions for many years. She deeply loved her family, friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Olive leaves to cherish her memory, three children Bill (Janet) Black, Barbara "Gail" (Gary) Lewis and Deborah (Doug) Dean; sister Annette Truzinski; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Lancey, Jr., two brothers Bill Decker and Phillip Priebe, and four sisters Lila Betz, Bernadette Burgess, Ila Burgess and Jennie Anway.
