Nora Cox

Of Mt Morris, age 53, died unexpectedly, Thursday, November 24, 2011. The funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Chaplain Goodman Cox will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Morris Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home Monday, November 28, 2011, from 3:00 until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Nora was born April 15, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Ruth (Purcell) Cox. Nora loved people and she never turned anyone away. She will be remembered for the support she gave to family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are daughter, Jessica Brown and Robert Brown; father, William Cox; twin sister, Faye Lee; sister, Alana Cox; three brothers, Alan Cox, Bill and wife, Julie Cox and Tom and wife, Rita Cox; and many, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death her mother and nephew, Mark Doyle.
