OLSEY, Nina A.\ \ Of Clio, age 85, died Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Elizabeth's Assisted Living. The Funeral Mass will take place, Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 11:00am at St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church, with burial to follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Family will be present to receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Michigan on Sunday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm , and Monday from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Monday evening family, friends, and parish will gather for a Scripture Service at 7:00pm at the funeral home. On Tuesday morning Nina will be taken to church where she will lie in state from 10:00am until time of serve at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be considered to Diabetes Association, or St. Charles and Helena Building Fund; envelopes are available at the funeral home, and church.\ \ Nina was born October 4, 1921 in Niagra, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brisbin. She and Stanley F. Olsey were united in marriage in 1945 in Flint. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1979. Nina worked at Ternstedt, where she was a member of the UAW #326, for 20 years retiring in 1973. She was a former member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, and St. Mary Catholic Church of Mt. Morris, where she served in several church organizations. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and working crossword puzzles. \ \ Nina leaves to cherish her memory 4 children:\ Ronald and wife Mary Ann Olsey,\ Russell and wife Rose Olsey,\ Raymond and wife Debbie Olsey\ Randi and husband Rick Maguire,\ 8 grandchildren, and\ 5 great grandchildren,\ \ She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Stanley, 7 brothers and 1 sister.
