Of Clio, age 61, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at her home. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00am, Saturday, December 3, 2011at the SS Charles & Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Rev. Fr. Phil Schmitter will officiate with cremation to follow. Nancy's family will gather at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Center to receive friends on Friday from 12:00 noon until 9:00 pm. On Friday evening, family, friends and parish will gather for a Vigil at 6:00pm conducted by Rev. Fr. Thomas Butler. On Saturday morning, Nancy will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family for Nancy's grandchildren's education or to Genesys Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Nancy was born January 10, 1950, in Flint the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Andrew and Berneitas Mary (Carrigan) White. Nancy was educated through and graduated from St. Mary's School in Mt. Morris with the Class of 1968. She went on to attend Central Michigan University, attaining a Master's Degree in Public Administration. Nancy worked as a director and consultant in the medical, legal and legislative fields for many years and was most recently employed with Bristol Steel and Conveyor Corporation as Director of Safety and Physician Captives, LLC as Risk Manager. Although very focused on work, she found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, vacationing on the beach, especially at St. George Island, Florida and tackling numerous home improvement projects, as demonstrated at her home in Clio. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters; Christina and husband Steve Mosser of White Lake, Cory and husband Robert Forlenza of Clio, four grandchildren; Zane Mosser, John Ellis and Alyssa and Reese Forlenza, brothers and sisters; Charles and wife Carol White of Clio, Joseph and wife Karen White of Millington, Kathy and husband Ted Keller of Wasilla, Alaska, Theresa and Paul Hunault of Gaines, Coleen White-Harvey and husband Richard Harvey of Washington D.C., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Evelyn and her husband Ed Wiles. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses at Hurley Hospital, especially the Cancer Floor, and Genesys Hospice.
