Of Saginaw, formerly of Vassar, age 85, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Claire Bridge in Bay City. The funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Pastor Lee Austin will officiate with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery. MonnaAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 1:00pm to 8:00pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church of Vassar. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Monna was born September 8, 1924 in Kingston, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roland and Elizabeth (Raymond) Warner. She and Edward J. Wujcikowski, Sr. were united in marriage January 22, 1944 at home in Vassar. He preceded her in death February 23, 1997. She graduated from Vassar High School, Class of 1942. Monna worked as a cook for the Vassar School System for 14 years before retiring in 1986 and, in her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo, playing cards, camping, and bowling. Monna leaves to cherish her memory three children; Sharon Bennett, Edward (Arleen) Wujcikowski Jr., and Christine Ziegler; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Lee (Florence) Warner and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Edward.
