Miriam Colden

Miriam Colden, age 76, of Davison, died Monday, November 12, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family. In accordance with Miriam’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Miriam’s life will take place at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tribute Services in Mount Morris. Miriam’s family will be present to receive friends on Saturday, beginning at 12:00 noon, until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family, care of Jody Colden. Miriam was born in Flint, Michigan on May 7, 1942, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Guard Russel and Margaret Frances (David) Ives. She worked for the Buick plant for 22 years, retiring in 2000. When she was not working, Miriam could be found camping with her family, playing Bingo, Crocheting, and watching her favorite tv shows: Building Alaska, Fixer Upper, Flip or Flop, or anything on the Food Network. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Jody Colden, Cindy Colden and partner, Tom O’ Berry, Michael Colden and partner, Emma Gonzales-Pineda; grandchildren: Ryan Colden, Brandy and husband, Josh Garchow, Rayme and husband, Larry Betz, Gabriel and husband, Ian Manning, Maria Colden, Shaneion Colden, Aaron Colden, Andy Landon, Chris Betz, Justin Pickleman; great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Shyann, Elizabeth, Jacob, Emma, Ally; siblings: Randy and wife, Mary Lou Ives, Sharron Heathcoat. Miriam was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Craig Colden, Jack Colden, Matthew Colden; siblings: Arnold Ives, Audrey Sullivan, Don Ives, Dale Ives, Linda Crain, Gayle Smith.
