Milton "Buzz" Downing

Age 88, passed away, December 9, 2017, at Tuscola County Medical Care Center. Buzz was born October 11, 1929, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton and Beatrice (Brink) Downing. He and Betty Crosby were united in marriage on March 8, 1950. He was a member of the Bradenton Shuffle Board Club. He was inducted into the Florida state and National Shuffle Board Hall of Fame. Surviving, his loving wife, of 67 years, Betty; son Michael and wife, Char Downing; granddaughter Jennifer (Matt) Rowloff; a great-granddaughter; Amelia “Peanut” Rowloff, sister-in-law, Barbara Downing; brother-in-law John and wife, Dixie Crosby and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parent, brother Dennis, sisters Marguerite Bridges and Donna Balzer and his two infant sons Gary and Jerry. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation, & Tribute Services in Fairgrove. Pastor Penny Parkin will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm then on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
