Michael Woolworth

Age 26, of Vassar, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014. The funeral service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar with cremation to follow. Michael’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm. On Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Michael was born November 28, 1987, in Gainesville, Florida, the son of Mr. & Mrs. John and Christina (Betz) Woolworth. Michael attended Vassar High School until his junior year before moving to Tennessee. Mikey worked as a commercial roofer in Tennessee. Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing, playing the guitar, and making people laugh. Left to cherish his memory, daughter, Adaleigh Rayne and son, Aaron Dayne Woolworth and their mother, Lindsey McMeen; parents, John and Christina Woolworth; three siblings; Jonathan and wife, Kylie Woolworth, Colleen and husband, Kevin Stephens and Roger and wife, Dannelle Woolworth; eight nieces and nephews, Madisyn, Kenley, Falicite, Stephen, Coven, Kodi, Travis and Cameron; grandparents, James and Dawn Woolworth and several aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Mary Betz, aunt, Sandi Kihn and his uncle, Paul Woolworth.
