Age 26, of Vassar, died as a result of an accident, on Saturday, August 8, 2020. In accordance with Mat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Mat’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the home of his grandparents,7651 N. Caine Rd, Millington, MI. 48746. Mat’s family will be present to receive friends from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the home of his grandparents. Expressions of sympathy and memorial contributions to the family may be placed on Mat’s tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com. Mat was born in Saginaw, on May 3, 1994, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Jeanette (Wilson) Todd. Mat was raised and educated in Vassar. Mat worked at Mold Master as a supervisor for five years. He loved dirt bikes, motorcycles, and tinkering around as a mechanic; he was very good at fixing things, both mechanical and electronic. In his free time. May enjoyed listening to music, Quad trail riding, and Quad Racing, riding Ski-Doo snowmobiles, and playing video games online with his friends. Left the cherish his memory are his mother, Jeanette and husband, Rufus Rhymer; two sisters: Andrea and husband, Keegan Riley, and Rebecca Rhymer; niece, Kinsley Riley; maternal grandparents: Martha and LaVern Wilson; aunts: Theresa and husband, David Neeley, and Paula Wilson; three uncles: Wesley and wife, Kathy Wilson, Roger Todd, and Adam McCormick; and many special cousins and friends. Mat was preceded in death by his father, Richard Todd, and his paternal grandparents.
