Mary Beamer

BEAMER, Mary Jean Of Flint, age 80, died November 20, 2008 at her residence. The funeral Service will take place 1:00pm, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at United In Christ Lutheran Church on Corunna Road in Flint. Rev. David E. Daniel will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. She will lie in state at church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00pm. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to United In Christ Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at church. Mrs. Beamer was born February 1, 1928, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Julia (Hahn) McLeod. She and Lewis R. Beamer were united in marriage on May 7, 1954 in Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Flint. He preceded her in death on November 29, 2000. She worked for GM parts division in the offices as a clerk for 37 years, retiring in 1984. She enjoyed bowling gardening, flowers and going to the cabin in Oscoda. Mrs. Beamer was a faithful member of United In Christ Church.
