Marilyn Larson

Of Vassar, age 81, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at home. Cremation has taken place at Marilyn's request. Those desiring, may direct memorial contributions to the local homeless shelter. Marilyn was born February 5, 1930 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl and Catherine (Cauley) Bender. She and Louie Larson were united in marriage 1949. "Please remember me with smiles and laughter; I am with Louie now and the rest of my heavenly family ~ Love, Marilyn" Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory, four children, Donna and husband, Joseph Kern, Chris and husband, John Pfeiffer, Nels Larson and Carol, and Lars Larson and Paula; twelve grandchildren, Heather DuBois, Joe Kern, Jr., Tony Larsen, Andrea Smith, John Pfeiffer, Haley Pfeiffer, Jason Larson, Lucas Larson, Nicholas Larson, Dar Larson, Joshua Larson, and Lindsey Larson; and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a special granddaughter Kelly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis; granddaughter, Allison; two sisters, Peggy and Elaine "Sister"; sister-in-law, Lucene; and two brothers-in-law, Robert and Richard.
