Linda Raymond

Age 76, of Flint, died, Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Village of East Harbor Assisted Living. A funeral service will take place 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at Martin Funeral Cremation & Tribute Services in Mount Morris. Pastor Dan Baldermann to officiate, with a private burial in Mount Morris Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service. On Saturday evening family and friends will gather at the funeral home for an Eastern Star Service, conducted under the auspices of the O.E.S. #474 of Mount Morris at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association- Greater Michigan Chapter. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Linda was born in Flint, Michigan, on October 28, 1942, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. and Gwendalin L. (Clancy) Mahoney. She worked as a registered dietitian for Genesee County until her retirement. Linda was an active member of the Eastern Star and First United Methodist Church in Mount Morris. Linda married Rowland Raymond on January 30, 1965, in Mount Morris, Michigan. Linda and Rowland shared 50 beautiful years until his death in 2015. Left to cherish her memory are sons: Derek Raymond and wife, Catherine Blackler, Clayt and wife, Lori Raymond; grandchildren: Caroline, Jack, Libby, Logan; brother and sister in law; Greg and wife, Phyllis Raymond nieces: Tonia, Trisha, Tiffany, Tammy; She was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents.
