Age 69 of Flint, died Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. A Private Funeral Service for Linda’s family will be celebrated on Monday, March 23, 2020. Fr. Timothy A. Nelson will officiate with burial to follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Linda will be honored with a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in the Summer of 2020, the date and time to be determined. Memorial donations may be directed to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church or to Linda's family. Linda was born on August 22, 1950, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tomas and Estela (Hernandez) Mosqueda. Raised in Flint, Linda graduated in 1968 from Northwestern High School and attended The University of Michigan-Flint. Linda was employed by Hope Network of Flint as a Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist. She married the love of her life, Francisco Espinoza, on November 4, 1988. Linda was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, volunteering in many capacities, serving as a lector and a Eucharistic Minister of Holy Communion. Linda was also a Cursillista, an Apostolate of the Divine Mercy and a member of the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, being active in her church, and the Spanish speaking community, listening to her music, dancing, and helping others in need. Linda leaves to cherish her memory, ten children: Jimmy (Kathy) Espinoza, Mariana Espinoza, Maricela (Greg) Espinoza, Francisca (Jose) Portillo, Kirsten Espinoza, Jesus Espinoza, Lucila (Ramiro)Almanza, Silvia (Franklin) Mayers, Tomas Tello, and Mario Espinoza; Grandsons: Carlos Espinoza, Tomas Esteban Tello, and many other grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, sister; Mary Mosqueda; special friend; Emilia Alfaro and several brothers and sisters-in-law; as well as many extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Estela Mosqueda, her husband, Francisco Espinoza, son, Javier Espinoza, and great-grandson, Francisco Antonio Espinoza.
