Of Flint, age 83, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place, 11:00am, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and Wednesday from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be considered to the Genesee County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Lillian was born March 2, 1927 in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Easel and Caroline (Kandra) Gomah. Lil worked in the motor pool department for the City of Flint for 24 years before her retirement. She also was the AaA"Avon LadyAaA, for nearly 40 years. Lil leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jack Perkins, daughter, Carrie and husband Dennis Bock, four grandchildren; Kyle Perkins, Kirk Perkins, Emily and husband Donnie Lannon, and Josh Bock, great-grandchildren; Austin, Callie and Lillie, three sisters; Dorrie Springer and Hank Gomulka, Ruth Gomah, Caroline Ritchie and daughter, Sherie, and her two beloved dogs; Rocky and Cash. She was preceded in death by her parents.
