Lewis Devary

Of Clio, age 64, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place 7:00pm, Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with cremation to follow. LewisAaa family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Friday from 2:00pm until the time of service at 7:00pm. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Salvation Army ARC. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Lewis, known as "Grandpa Lou" to his grandchildren, was born July 21, 1946 in Flint the son of Lewis DeVary, Sr. and Dorothy Morin. He worked as a laborer for over 20 years with Johnson and Wood Mechanical. He enjoyed the comforts of his home and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memory are his children; three daughters; Carmen and husband Tim Corcoran, Emily Duckworth and special friend, Doug Maurer, and Shannon Eichorn, son, Stanley and wife Kathy DeVary; eight grandchildren, Damon, Cody, Shane, Collin, Andrew, Skylar, Kylee and Brandon; special lady and mother of his children, Sue DeVary and his sister, Sharon. Lewis was preceded by his parents and stepfather, Don Swanton.
