Kevin Ward

Age 56 of Flint, died Sunday, January 20, 2019, at Ascension Genesys Hospital. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 25, 2019, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services of Mt. Morris, burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Kevin’s family will be present to receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. Those desiring may make a donation to the family care of James Ward. Kevin was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, on July 26, 1962, to the late Mr. Elias and Bernice Marie (Davis) Ward. Kevin graduated from Elmer A. Knopf School in 1984. He was a beloved brother and uncle. He could be found singing, dancing, and joking. Kevin was a huge fan of “The Wizard of Oz” and loved singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” Left to cherish his memory are his brothers: James Ward, Damon Ward, Clarence and wife, Terry Ward, Lonnie and wife, Janice Ward; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: John Ward, Fred Ward, and Carl Ward; sisters: Mary Williams and, Martha Elizabeth “Libby” Cook.
