Kenneth Allen

Of Mt Morris, age 69, died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his home. Kenneth was born May 19, 1940 in Gladwin, Michigan the son of Eileen Card. Eileen and Elmer Gerred were married, and Elmer raised Kenneth and his sister since they were young. Kenneth worked for the Genesee County Sheriff Department from January 15, 1965 until he retired on August 31, 1990. He then worked for F.A.N.G. for three years. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching the Red Wings, fishing, playing Euchre, and Bingo. Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory, his dad, Elmer Gerred; two children, Mark Allen, and Wendy Neideffer; four grandchildren, Chelsea, Ryan, Trevor, and Justin; niece, Debra Barns and family; nephew, Francis Belill, Jr. and family; brother-in-law, Francis Belill, Sr.; and several beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; his sister, Barbara Belill; and several close friends.
