Keira Denike

DeNIKE, Keira Ellen\ \ Age 12, of Millington, died suddenly on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at her home. Keira was born September 6, 1994 in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Carl and Kalyn Marie (Aure) DeNike. She currently attended Meachum Junior High in Millington and was looking forward to the upcoming 7th grade year. She loved animals and enjoyed watching television, movies and camping. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Kraig Dale DeNike, mother, Kalyn Aure, grandfather and guardian, AaA"papaAaA Jack Aure, AaA"nannyAaA Diane DeNike, special cousin, Mikey Aure, uncle, Dale and wife Laurie Aure, special friend, Jon Wilson, her dog Duelly and her cat Scampers and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.\ \ Keira was preceded in death by her father, Kelly Carl DeNike, great-grandmother, Phyllis Nichols and uncle, Craig Aure.\ \ Funeral service will take place 11:00am, Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. The family will be present to receive friends on Sunday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Monday morning from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to her brother.
