Katherine Gonyer

Of Flint, age 71, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at her home. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, with burial to follow in Mt. Morris Cemetery. KatherineAaas family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 3:00pm until 9:00pm, Friday from 12:00noon until time of service at 1:00pm. Katherine was born September 17, 1938 in Indian River, Michigan the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman and Gladys (Rivard) Hetzel She was employed at Hamady Brothers for 31 years before retiring. Katherine enjoyed bird watching and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Katherine leaves to cherish her memory her three children; Michael, Susan and Richard; stepdaughter, Kindy; sister, Frances; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Walter.
