Karen Kay Rosebush

Age 53, of Mt. Morris, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in her home. A Memorial Service will take place at 7:00 pm, Friday, October 25, 2024, at Martin, Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettle to officiate. Karen's family will be present to receive friends on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:00 pm. Karen was born on February 27, 1971, in Flint, Michigan; the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Arlene (Offill) Kryger. Karen graduated from Powers Catholic High School in Flint with the class of 1989. She married the love of her life, Ken Rosebush Jr., on July 25, 1998 at Calvary Church in Flint. She worked as the Manager of the Housekeeping Department at Lockwood Assisted Living, formerly known as American House, for several years. She had a drive for helping others. When she was not working and taking care of her family, she would spend her free time in the garden. Karen loved flowers, and keeping a fresh arrangement of flowers in her garden was her favorite activity. She would also ensure the inside of her home was just as beautiful as the outside by always decorating for every holiday. Karen also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking. Most of all, Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Chelsie Rosebush and fiancé, Ryan Sullivan; her son, David Marshall; her sister, Sherry Zyber and husband, Rick; her brother, Gary Kryger, as well as her four grandchildren, Aylah, Landyn, Cambree, and Lowen.

Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Rosebush Jr.; her parents, and her two brothers, Clarence "Robin" Kryger and Roger Kryger.
