June Steffens

STEFFENS, June A., 83, of Ridge Manor, Florida, passed away July 13, 2012, in Dade City, Florida. She was born in Vassar, Michigan June 27, 1929.She was City Clerk of Vassar for several years and retired from Nash Finch of Bridgeport in 1984. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Wendell; son, David Steffens; daughters, Linda Williamson (Thomas), Mary Kennard (Michael), Julie Howell (Melvin); brother, Charles Gohsman (Caroline); six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mabel; brothers, David and Robert, son, Robert. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Vassar on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 11:00 am. The family request donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Vassar.
