Julien Manningham, age 65, of Flint, died Sunday, January 1, 2017. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Larry Survance will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Julien’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday, from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm, and on Friday, from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Julien was born January 26, 1951, in Lester, Quebec, Canada, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edmond and Antonia (Boutin) Manningham. He graduated from Flint Northern High School with the class of 1969. He worked on the assembly line at Buick for many years until his retirement in 1995. Julien was a long-time member of UAW Local #599. He was a devoted father and grandfather. In his free time, Julien enjoyed riding his motorcycles, watching the Detroit Red Wings, playing broomball, and listening to oldies. Left to cherish his memory: daughter, Juliana (Tay Dunson) Manningham; step-daughter, Joanna McChristion and step-son, James “Jimmy” (Dana) McChristion; five grandchildren; six siblings: Marcel (Micheline) Manningham, Louison (Cheryl) Manningham, Yves (Robin) Manningham, Robert Manningham, Nicole (Manningham) Hutchinson, and Jacinthe Manningham; special friends: Pastor Larry, Jeff, Chuck, and Gary. Julien was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Robert Hutchinson. Friends may share a memorial with the family at the funeral home or online at www.martinfuneralhome.com.
