Age 81, of Mt. Morris, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 25, 2020, under the loving care of Pray Family Care Home. In accordance with Judith's wishes, cremation has taken place. Expressions of sympathy and memorial contributions to Pray Family Care Home may be directed to Judith's tribute page at martinfuneralhome.com. Judith was born in Durand on March 1, 1939, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell A. and Helen M. (Fredrick) Weller. Judith enjoyed taking care of all of the animals on her grandparents' farm in her younger years. Educated locally, Judith attended Durand High School graduating with the Class of 1957. After graduation, Judith continued her education at the Asbury University in Kentucky, graduating in 1961 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Judith began her career at Beecher Elementary School and then transferred to Morrish Elementary School in Swartz Creek. Judith loved teaching and taught 4th grade until her retirement in 1996. After retirement, Judith would travel to Florida with her friends. She was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church in Birch Run. Judith enjoyed working on puzzles in her free time and spending time with her family and friends. Judith leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Brent Chapman and Bryan and wife, Rachel Chapman; seven grandchildren: Alex, Andrew, Samantha, Chloe, Tristan, Ben, and Ella; brother, John Weller; sister-in-law, Rose Weller; special aunt, Ruth Tolson; three nieces; and many other family members and friends. Judith was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Russell, Jr.
