Of Bridgeport, age 53, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center. The funeral service will take place Monday, May 5, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Pastor Tim Evans will officiate with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Mr. TaylorAaas family will greet friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm. On Monday morning, Joseph will be taken to the church to lie in state from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Joseph worked for General Motors for Thirty years as Tool & Die Maker. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, helping others and spending time with his family and friends. Joseph is survived by wife: Kimberly Ann (Hawley) Taylor; father: Joe Taylor; six brothers: Paul Taylor, Roger (Sandi) Thompson, Ron (Rosy) Hawley, Ramon (Debbie) Hawley, Robert (Gail) Hawley and Kevin Hawley; three sisters: Susan (Daniel) Yaklin, Mary (Steve) Bennett, and Donna (Harold) Fox; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by mother: Vivian Taylor; sister: Shaaron Thompson; and in-laws: Eugene (Evelyn) Hawley.
