John Vanderpool

Of Fairgrove, age 58, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at home. The funeral service will take place 6:00 pm, Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove with Cremation to follow. John's family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm. John was born December 24, 1954 in Marlette, Michigan, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery and Marie (Strassburg) Vanderpool. John was a talented and skilled carpenter his entire life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, woodworking, gardening, canning food and farming. Left to cherish his memory are, three children, John Vanderpool, Tina (Kevin) Depcinski, Adam Vanderpool; nine grandchildren, Brittany, Xavier, Kaila, Shayna, Issac, Jonny, Hannah, Alyssa, Victoria; great-grandson Riley; 10 sisters; two brothers; fishing buddies Adel and Mabel; and many other family members and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers Peter and Sonny.
