Age 82 of Genesee, died peacefully Monday, July 30, 2007 at his home.\ Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday, August 3, 2007 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris, Mr. Vernon Lawrence officiating with burial following at Oakwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00pm -9:00 pm Wednesday, 11:00 am Aa" 9:00 pm Thursday and from 11:00 am Friday until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Michigan School of the Deaf. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. \ \ John was born December 14, 1924 in Flint, Michigan the son of Mr. & Mrs. John Anton and Selena (Dyke) Bobb. He graduated from Michigan School of the Deaf in 1943. He and Lena Dawe were united in marriage in 1944. John was a Master Certified Mechanic for 61 years. John worked at the Genesee Garage with his family for many years. His father had originally built the garage in the early 1930's. Johnny retired in 2000. He enjoyed hunting, watching WWF Wrestling and loved his dog. Tinny. \ \ John is survived by his daughter, Lydia and husband William Greenway of Grass Lake, son, John Lance and wife Christine Bobb of Clio; four grandchildren, Marc, Mindy, Jeremy, and Rhonda; five step-grandchildren; and two great grand children; brother, Clarence and wife, Martha Bobb of Ceader Springs; many nieces and nephews and countless friends.\ \ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lena in 1985; older sister, Doris Bradley and younger brother Lynn Bobb. \
