JIMMY DALE "JIMMER" KLATT \ Age 56 of Clio, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 as a result of an auto accident. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, April 5, 2007 at the Davison Missionary Church, Rev. Dennis Smith officiating with military honors provided by the Clio American Legion Post # 158. Jimas family will be present to receive friends 10:00 am - 8:00 pm Wednesday at the Miles Martin Funeral Home. Thursday, Jim will be taken to lie in state at the church from 10:00 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church. \ \ Jim was born in Flint, Michigan on November 15, 1950 son of Mr. & Mrs. Louie and Anna A. (Bunge) Klatt. He was proud to be a veteran of the United States Army. He married Gayle Latting on July 21, 1973 in Burton, Michigan. His work path began as a bump and paint man at the Wolverine Bump Shop for sixteen years. Jim then went on to own and operate his Snap-on Tool Dealership for the past twenty years. He enjoyed deer hunting, snowmobiling, watching NASCAR, was a dedicated Red Wing fan, liked to be around his grandchildren and loved to talk and socialize.\ \ Left to cherish Jimmeras memory are his wife of 34 years Gayle; daughter Melissa and husband Brian Wills of Davison, son SSgt. Andrew and wife Lilly Klatt of California; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Caleb and Noah Wills; Michael James Klatt due in June; father, Louie Klatt; brother, Donald and wife Janet Klatt; sister, Emma Sue Stroud; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. \ \ Jim was preceded in death by his mother in 1997 and niece Gretchen in 1988.\
