Jerald Reynolds

Age 74, of Mt. Morris, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, January 4, 2020. A funeral service will take place at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 9, 2020, at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services. Pastor Russ Homan officiating with burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Wednesday, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm; and on Thursday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 noon. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jerald was born in Flint, on June 9, 1945, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustin and Mary (Reed) Reynolds. He married Darlene Warner on August 8, 1967, in Flint. Sadly, she preceded him in death on December 10, 2017. Red worked as an inspector for AC Spark Plug for 30 years, retiring in 1997. In his free time, Red enjoyed playing cards with family and playing Euchre at the Flushing Moose Lodge. Red also enjoyed doing yard work, watching Westerns and War movies. Red was a founding member of the Mt. Morris Lions Club and was a long-time member of the Flushing Moose Lodge #1437. Left to cherish his memory are two sons: Darren (Cindy) Reynolds, and Matt (Cheryl Sandusky) Reynolds; nine grandchildren: Nicholous (Rebecca Iverson) Atkeson, Holly (Andy Haynes) Ostrom, Stephen (Emily) Reynolds, Danielle (D.J. Cannoy) Reynolds, Ashley (Jacob) Roberts, David (Delores Elizalde) Parks Jr., Brandon (Sophia Romain) Ferrara, Allison Reynolds, and special friend, Angelina Geary; Ella Sandusky six great-grandchildren: Suvanna Atkeson, Calleigh Reynolds, Madison Kennedy, Angelique Atkeson, Nicholous Atkeson, Jr., and Isaiah Atkeson; a brother: Ed (Doris) Reynolds; and many other family members and friends. Jerald was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Darlene; two brothers: James and Charles; and his sister, Mary.
