Age, 86, entered her eternal home on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Jean was born on July 28, 1941 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin and Emma (Walz) Shultz. She attended Holy Cross Schools and Arthur Hill Schools. Jean worked as an accountant for the Home Dairy in Saginaw. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 29, 2016 at 4 o'clock at St. Michaels Lutheran Church. Jean will lie in state on Monday from 2 o’clock until time of service at 4 o’clock at St. Michaels Lutheran Church. Pastor Robert Gadeken will officiate. Committal will be at St. Michael's Cemetery, Richville. Memorials can be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church. Envelopes available at the church. On July 28, 1941, she married the love of her life Marvin Hecht, together they enjoyed 63 years of dedicated love to one another. Sadly he preceded her in death in April of 2015. She supported Marvin in farming and cooked many delicious meals for the workers. She leaves behind one son, Gary & wife Rene'e, and their triplet children Garrison, ReAnna, and Malachi Hecht, and special nephew Waldo and wife Pat. Her life revolved around her triplet grandchildren, and her family. She lived for her family and loved ones. Jean was a lifelong member of St. Michaels Lutheran Church, the Mary Martha Club, and the St. Michael’s Greeter’s Ministry. For many years she sent devotional books to others, and playing cards with the “Blitz” club. Mrs. Hecht was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; daughter, Sandra Drake; grandson, Bartholmew Drake.
