Janice Johnson

Age 69, of Burton, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on June 21, 2018. In accordance with her wishes, Jan and her late husband Bryan will be having a co-celebration of life. Jan and Bryans’s family will be present to receive friends at Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services – Mt. Morris, on June 30, 2018, from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon. Jan was born in Flint, Michigan on November 27, 1948, to Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Marion (Usher) Ruhstorfer. She graduated from Flint Northern High School. After her graduation, Jan began her 20-year career with Dawn’s Doughnuts, and later Dunkin Doughnuts. In [year of marriage] Jan married Bryan Johnson. Their union bore three children. Sadly, he preceded her in death in 2011. Jan is survived by her children: Ron and wife, Joannie Johnson, Kim and husband, Mike Evans, Kristina and husband, James Woodruff; grandchildren: Jessica Cavette, Marissa Evans, Kelsey Evans, Kayla, and husband Jacolby McNeil, Angel Woodruff, Emily Woodruff, Chelsea Birdsall, Mathew Birdsall; great-grandchildren: Arionna, Jacoby, and Aurora; siblings: Patrica and husband, Gary Franklin, Pamela Ruhstofer, Don and wife, Betty Ruhstorfer, Tom and wife, Bernadette Ruhstofer, Michael and wife, Debbie Ruhstofer; several nieces and nephews; and her significant other, Donald Hill. Jan is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Bryan, and brother Joe. Jan’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Kindred Hospice for their compassionate care. The family asks that donations be made in Bryan and Jan's name to the American Cancer Society.
