Janet June

Age 70, of Mt. Morris, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 20, 2024, with her husband and sister-in-law, Pam by her side. A funeral service will take place 1:00 pm, December 30, 2024, at Martin Funeral Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Mr. BJ Grimmett officiating with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Janet’s family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday, December 29, 2024, to receive friends from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm; and on Monday, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. Janet was born on December 6, 1954, Hinton, West Virginia, she is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Franklin and Annie (McClanihan) Tuck. Educated locally, Janet graduated from the Elisabeth Ann Johnson High School in Mt. Morris. Janet married Thomas June on May 24, 1997, in Flint. She continued her education studying law with the interest in becoming a Paralegal. Her love for law aided her in studying the nine phases of law, while working as a Quality Control Inspector for the automotive industry, retiring in 2006. In her free time, Janet enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crafting and gardening.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas June; brother, Franklin (Leonora) Tuck, Jr., of Rainelle, West Virginia; sister, Tania Tuck of Mt. Morris; three Godchildren: Elizabeth (Jamar) Gibson, Ajanae Sherrod, and Adreanna Kuszmaul; two stepchildren: Kayce June (Cody), and Kyle (Gabrielle) June; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Janet’s family would like to extend a special thank you to their hospice nurse, Michelle for the love, care and support she gave to Janet.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Donna Hutton, and Karen Anderson; brothers: Brian Tuck, Sr., and Bruce Tuck.
