Janet Allen

Of Mt. Morris, passed away December 19, 2024, with her husband by her side. In accordance with Janet’s wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on Janet’s tribute page on martinfuneralhome.com. 

Janet was born on August 21, 1948, in Flint. She is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James and Marjorie (Battles) Antaya. Janet met and married the love of her life, Kenneth D. Allen, Jr. on November 21, 1970. Their union was blessed with two children. Janet was the secretary/treasurer at Hopewell Church in Flint for over 30 years. In her free time, Janet loved spending time with her family and friends, crafting, panting, bowling and traveling to Mackinac Island with her husband. She also enjoyed Bible study and going to their church. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth D. Allen, Jr; daughter, Michelle L. Allen-Davis; step-son, Dave (Tina) Allen; grandchildren: Ashleigh, and Taylor Allen and their mother, Cheri; Cary and Stephen Davis; loving sister and husband, Gloria (Bob) Dobbs; niece, Stephanie (Bob) Moffitt and their children; nephew, Jeff (Jodi) Dobbs and their children; and many other family members and her church family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shiloh Christian Ministries and the staff of Cranberry Park Memory Facility.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Larry Antaya.
