James Mckenzie

Of Clio, age 78, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. The funeral service will take place at the Paintsville Funeral Home in Paintsville, KY, with burial to follow in the McKenzie Family Cemetery in Paintsville, KY. \ \ James was born November 12, 1928 in Johnson County, KY the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley and Mousie (Cantrell) McKenzie. He was employed as a truck driver with GM, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.\ \ James leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Barbara Joann McKenzie,\ 3 grandchildren, Michael James McKenzie, Terry Lee McKenzie, and Sandra Kay King, 7 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Mabel Cantrell, Martha Blair, and Barbara Johnson, 2 brothers Hubert McKenzie, and Elmon McKenzie, his dog Lady, many nieces, and nephews.\ \ He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Bonnie Lou, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. \ \
