Of Vassar, age 66, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 1, 2010 at home. The memorial celebration of life will take place 11:00am, Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the Grace Lutheran Church ELCA in Vassar. Pastor Joe Wold will officiate cremation has taken place. JamesAaa AaA"RedAaA family will be present to receive friends at church from 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers please direct memorial contributions to the family or to the Grace Lutheran Church Building Fund. Envelopes are available at the church. James "Red" was born June 4, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Anna (Bigham) Lindow. James graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1962. He and Mary Ann Gamet were united in marriage March 25, 1967. James AaA"RedAaA worked for Eaton/Grede Foundry until retiring in 1994. In his free time AaA"RedAaA loved spending time with his family and friends, having coffee at VicAaas Market. James leaves behind to treasure his memory; his wife of 43 years, Mary Ann; two daughters, Pamela and husband Raymond Carter, Patricia and husband Thomas Baker; six grandchildren, Paul AaA"PJAaA Carter and fiancAAe Blair Lee, Tylor Carter and friend Ryan Waggoner, Austin Baker, Jesse Baker, Madison Baker, and Zachary Baker; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Lee, and Deegan Carter; three brothers, Charles and wife Darlene Lindow, Donald and wife Connie Lindow, and Richard and wife Corrinne Lindow; one sister Kathleen and husband Ryan Jaynes; and numerous nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, sister Anna Schuster, and brother Jack Lindow.
