James Dellinger

Age 61, of Clio, died Thursday, March 3, 2016, at McLaren-Flint. In accordance with James’ wishes cremation has taken place; with burial to follow at a later date. James was born September 17, 1954, in Flint, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Doris (Nelson) Dellinger. He married Susan Holland on December 16, 1983. James graduated from Flint Central High School, Class of 1973. He worked for Buick and Delphi for many years as a welder until he retired in 2003. In his free time, James enjoyed deer hunting, bass fishing, spending time with family and friends, and going to Arbys. Left to cherish his memory, wife, Susan Dellinger; daughter: Tammy Martin, son, Michael Holland and girlfriend Debbie; three grandchildren: Micah and wife, Ashly Maxwell, Josh Maxwell, and Sarah Martin; two great-grandchildren: Braelin and Jaxon Maxwell; mother Doris Dellinger, three brothers: Pete and wife, Denise Dellinger, Randall Dellinger, and Steve Dellinger; three sisters: Debbie and husband, Carlos Valdes, Elizabeth Nierman, and Cynthia Gentilini; and many other family members and friends. James was preceded in death by his father Joe, sister Mary Alice, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
