James Crossnoe

October 4, 1947 — February 19, 2017

Age 69, of Davison, passed away peacefully with his family, Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. A Celebration of James’ life will take place 1:00 pm, Friday, February 24, 2017, at Martin Funeral, Cremation and Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Pastor Steve Turner will officiate with burial to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm. James was born October 4, 1947, in Flint the son of Cecil Crossnoe and Mary Brown. Educated locally at Flint Northern, James’ career path would lead him to GM where he worked in production for 30 years prior to retiring. Hunting and fishing were great passions of his and he was in the woods or on the water whenever he could be. James also loved spending time at his trailer in Bay Port, Michigan. He will be dearly missed. Left to cherish his memory are: his children, Christina (Mike) Karas of Millington, Nathan Crossnoe of Davison, two grandsons, Noah and Aden Karas of Millington, stepsister, Janice (Glenn) Fielding of Davison, close friends, Norm Vargo of Davison and Elaine Andison of Lapeer, his beloved dog, Zoey, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, stepbrother, Randy Dowless and his dogs, Ginger and Princess.
