Jack Carso

Of Burton, age 91, died October 8, 2015, at his home in Burton. The funeral service will take place October 12, 2015 at 11:00 am, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Genesee Twp. Fr. Greenwell will officiate with burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Jack’s family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Monday from 10:00 am to the time of service at 11:00 am. Jack was born February 1, 1924 in Christopher, Illinois the son of Mr. and Mrs. Prosper and Judith (Ronchetto) Carso. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Jack attended Michigan State University where he received his Masters of Sociology. He worked as a Court Administrator for the Genesee County Probate Court for 27 years, retiring in 1975. Jack was a renowned field dog trainer, award-winning trap/skeet shooter and outdoorsman. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother.
