JACKMAN, Irene AaA"NiaAaA (Rappas)\ \ of New Lothrop, age 60, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at her home. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be considered to the charity of your choice, envelopes are available at the funeral home. \ \ Irene was born October 21, 1946 in Ann Arbor. She was raised the daughter of Steven and Katherine Shapardon. She and Phillip Michael Jackman Sr. were united in marriage in 1978, he preceded her in death in 1997. \ \ She enjoyed watching wildlife from the kitchen table, reading (Harry Potter,) lottery, and taking pictures of her loved ones. \ \ Nia leaves to cherish her memory: three children: Phillip Jr. and wife Laura Jackman of Jackson, Alan Jackman of Flint, and Kathy and husband Joe Taylor of Clio, \ eight grandchildren, \ two brothers: Pete and wife Wendy Rappas of Davison, and \ George and wife Ginger Shapardon of Flint, \ two sisters: Mary Shapardon of Flint, and \ Dorothy Shapardon of Flint, \ and several nieces, nephews and friends.\ \ Nia was preceded in death by her mother Katherine, father Steven, and husband Phillip Michael Jackman, Sr., brother, Sam Shapardon of Australia.\ \ \
