Helen Hynes

Helen Ann (Knapp) Hynes, of Davison, died Monday, September 17, 2018, at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint. In accordance with Helens wishes cremation has taken place. Services for Helen have not been scheduled at this time. Helen was born on June 18, 1936, in Saginaw to Mr. & Mrs. George and Helen (Hollies) Knapp. She graduated from ­­­Arthur Hill High School class of 1954. Helen worked for General Motors Powertrain in Willow Run for many years in production before her retirement. She was a loving and supporting grandmother who loved going to their various events and sports. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was an avid University of Michigan fan. Helen will be greatly missed by many. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Thomas and wife, Cecilia Hynes, Dyanne and husband, Jim Graves, Timothy and wife Paula Hynes, and Bonnie Katz; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nephew: Larry Carley; and her cat: Gabby. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and brother Tim Knapp.
