Helen Holappa

HOLAPPA, Helen Margaret Frankenmuth, Michigan Entered Eternal Life at the age of 91, on January 18, 2009 at the Lutheran Home. She was born August 19, 1917 to the late Wallace and Lucy (Kemppainen) Hannu. She was married to John Holappa October 26, 1946. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1991. Surviving are daughters: Ruth (Paul) Weber and Margaret (Robert) Arndt, grandchildren: Kristina Kostrna, Mark (Angela) Troge, Kara Troge and FiancAAe Andy Agans, Amy Banks, Robert (April) Arndt, great grandchildren: Zachary Kostrna, Devin and Jayden Troge, Miles Banks, Bobby and Olivia Arndt. She was also preceded in death by her brother Howard Hunna and sister Ruth Ammon. Visitation will take place Tuesday, January 20, at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A private service and burial will take place at a later date in Atlantic Mine, Michigan.
