Helen Emery

Of Vassar, age 89, died Friday, September 21, 2012, at Tender Care - Cass City. The funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar. Pastor David Burkett will officiate with burial to follow in Tuscola Township Cemetery. Helen's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm. Helen was born October 2, 1922, in Ellington, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stephan and Julia (Hodge) Vargo In her free time Helen enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing cards. Left to cherish her memory two children; Elaine Willson and Richard (Jannie) Emery; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald, two sons; Ron and Donald, Jr., daughter, Joan and great-grandson, BJ.
